WILLOW – 11 YEARS – SPAYED – VACCINATED – MICROCHIPPED – PARALYZED FROM WAIST DOWN – SPECIAL DIET (U/R URINARY) – ON DAILY MEDICATION AND SUPPLEMENTS – LONGEST TERM RESIDENT – THE QUEEN
Willow is a SUPER fluffy pillow of hair! Willow had an accident as a kitten, and as a result has limited feeling in the back end of her body. Willow walks with a waddle, and she can’t feel when she has to “go” so she has accidents. No worries, this takes less than a minute to clean up and is beyond worth it in exchange for her love and happiness. Despite her disability, she loves to chase toys, roll around like a worm, and talk to her humans. She’s one of the most affectionate cats at Safe Haven, and is famously known as the sanctuary’s Queen! She would do best in the care of a patient and experienced cat owner in a home without carpet. Diapers are not an option for her. She is manually expressed daily (very easy, anyone can learn how to do this) so that she does not get backed up, though she does not need it as frequently as some of our other paralyzed kitties. She is kennel trained for as needed (overnights for example, when staff is unavailable to tend to her) This queen is looking for a purrrmanent castle- do you have space in your heart and home for the royal highness?
Special Need: Paralyzed from waist down, Urine/Fecal Incontinence.
Willow is currently at our temporary Green Bay location, St. Paul’s UMC (United Methodist Church), at 341 Wilson Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303
Adoption Fee: My adoption fee has been waived so that my new owner can spend the extra $150.00 on my needs, like food, litter, toys, and treats!
