Belvedere, Belle for short, is such a sweet, old lady and sadly, an owner surrender since she was bullied by another cat in the home. She was caught in a trap years back which damaged her jaw. The injury did not heal correctly and now her jaw doesn’t quite line up. She’s not aware at all, but her tongue now hangs out of her mouth most of the time. It’s hard not to chuckle at her because she’s just SO DARN CUTE! She also gives off Old Lady vibes with her one VERY LONG, VERY WHITE whisker. She’s constantly telling us to pluck it so she can appear younger, but we think it just makes her more endearing. Currently, Belle likes to wear her chic Thundershirt which helps her overgrooming. She is on a special diet to help control her skin issues. She also has a long list of allergies, making her perfect home placement harder to find. Long story short- Belle needs a patient owner who has a space for her worh *hard wood floors* only (carpet allergy) and possibly no other pets. Do you know anyone? She DOES like her kitty friend Monkey- who is a current roommate on the same diet as her. They would be great to go together!
Belvedere is currently in a FOSTER HOME. Due to recent disaster of our building, adoption applications are on a partial pause for cats previously at Safe Haven in Green Bay. At this time we will only process adoption applications for this animal if you have already met them in person at least once already before. Thank you for understanding.
