Each character is waiting for an important meeting that could change their lives. \nAs they interact\, they discuss their respective historical contexts\, their hopes\, and their fears. The play explores themes of time\, death\, and historical accuracy\, questioning how history remembers individuals and events. The characters’ conversations reveal their struggles with their identities and their places in history\, ultimately highlighting the interconnectedness of their experiences despite the vast differences in their backgrounds. \nThe play is a blend of comedy and drama\, with witty dialogues and poignant moments that reflect on the nature of existence and the impact of historical events on personal lives. DESCRIPTION:Join Haven Books staff and Safe Haven volunteers for a Children’s Story Hour with the kitties! Kiddos will gather around in our cozy space and listen to a few fun stories\, enjoy activities such as coloring\, and of course spend time socializing with rescue cats. Children must be accompanied by an adult\, but don’t worry- we think you’ll have a fun time\, too. After all\, books and imagination are for everyone! Story Hour will take place every other Thursday (minus holidays) at Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary (151 N Broadway Green Bay\, WI 54303) from 11am-12pm. $3 suggested donation per kiddo – cash or card day of. DESCRIPTION:There is a separate ticket link & time slots for cats or dogs to reduce stress on the animals. If you bring your animal in during the wrong time slot you will be asked to come back at the correct time. This is a first come\, first serve event. **Arrive anytime during the time slot\, however no later than 15 minutes prior to the end of the time slot.** Entry through Haven Books front door (153 N Broadway) \nDogs: 1pm-2pm\nCats: 2pm-4pm \nEach animal will receive a brief wellness exam for $25 which will be paid in advance through the ticket link to secure your spot. Tickets are non-refundable. If you will be bringing more than one pet\, please purchase one ticket per animal. Please bring proof of current rabies vaccination unless receiving 1 year rabies at time of service.
