DESCRIPTION:Join us for Cat Camp 2026!  Is your child a future animal rescuer between the ages of 4 and 12?! This year we have split age groups into events on 2 different days (sign up according to age!) Cat Camp is geared towards children interested in learning about rescue animals- primarily kitties! Event will include education on caring for pets and learning about careers in animal care or rescue\, beginner-friendly yoga with kitties\, and more fun animal-related activities! Snacks and drinks will be provided around lunch time. Tickets available now. Cost: $45 per child. Due to high demand these tickets will be non-refundable or exchangeable.100% of proceeds benefit our non-profit rescue and sanctuary! Parents can stick around or drop off. DESCRIPTION:Postponed til August\, date TBD! \nJoin us for a pop-up book club featuring James Herriot’s collection of “Cat Stories” on June 26th at 6pm! 📖📚 “Cat Stories” (description below) can be purchased at any retailer\, though we highly recommend supporting local and grabbing your copy from our friends at Lion’s Mouth Bookstore in Green Bay! We do not have copies available at Haven Books\, however we do have free photocopies of the first chapter for anyone who wants to participate but cannot obtain a copy. *For photocopies just stop into Haven Books during open hours and ask staff for one!* This book discussion will have additional input from our rescue kitty friends here at the sanctuary\, as they will be free-roaming and hanging out! 🐈🐾😺 \nJames Herriot’s Cat Stories overview: \n\n\n\nJames Herriot’s stories about his life as a veterinarian in 1930s-40s rural England bring memorable animals to life and show us what animals can teach their people about love\, resilience\, and community. His book of CAT STORIES is no exception.
