Catpurrnicus came to us on a transport from another shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia. He is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus, but this does NOT mean he cannot live a happy life! There are many stigmas surrounding FIV, and we’re here to shut them down. FIV+ kitties are paw-sitively adoptable! They can even live just fine with other social felines, as the virus only spreads via deep bite wounds. As for purrsonality, Catpurrnicus is pretty shy. We have been socializing him for months, though, and he has made tremendous progress! You can find him lounging in the sanctuary now, and he seems to enjoy napping on laps. We think he would thrive in a calm environment at home with a patient adopter. Oh, and he has just about the cutest face ever.
